Geolocation accuracy radius
The radius around an estimated location, in kilometres — how precise the guess is.
Commercial geolocation databases can attach an accuracy radius to each record: a rough distance around the estimated point that the real location is likely to fall within.
A 5 km radius suggests a city-level estimate. A 500 km radius means the record is effectively country-level with a city guessed from a population centre.
Displaying the radius next to the city is more honest than showing a bare city name. Without a radius, a city field is a guess presented as a fact.
