What platforms actually check
Amazon, TikTok Shop and Shopee do not publish their risk rules. The patterns below are the ones sellers report most often, mapped to what you can verify before you open a store. Nothing here is an official statement from those platforms.
Amazon
| Signal | Weight | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Network type | high | A hosting ASN is the most common reason a new seller account gets reviewed on day one. |
| Account country vs IP country | high | Registering a US store from a JP datacenter is a mismatch that is easy to detect. |
| Device & browser fingerprint | high | Same device across accounts links them, regardless of IP. |
| KYC documents | high | Name, address and bank must agree with each other. |
| IP stability over time | medium | An IP that changes daily looks like a proxy pool. |
What we can check for you: network type, ASN brand, country consistency, proxy/VPN/Tor signals, and whether your exit IP drifts between visits.
TikTok Shop
| Signal | Weight | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Behaviour before selling | high | Watching content and interacting for days matters more than profile completeness. |
| IP / region alignment | high | The shop region must match where your traffic and payments appear to come from. |
| Phone number country | medium | A local number is a strong trust signal. |
| Proxy patterns | medium | Datacenter and rotating residential pools are both recognised over time. |
What we can check: verdict class, residential vs hosting ASN, and whether the same exit IP stays stable across your sessions.
Shopee
| Signal | Weight | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Local phone & address | high | Market-specific verification is strict on phone ownership. |
| Payment method country | high | A local bank account or wallet reduces review risk. |
| IP consistency | medium | Frequent country switching is a flag. |
| Order history | low | A first small order looks healthier than a silent account. |
What we can check: whether the IP looks like a normal local line, and whether it changed since your last visit.
What this means in practice
- Fix the IP first. A datacenter address is the cheapest mistake to avoid — check the pool before you register anything.
- Keep one IP, one device, one login. Consistency is scored over days, not minutes.
- Match the country. IP country, phone country, payment country and shipping country should agree.
- Do not switch proxies mid-way. If the exit IP changes, restart the warm-up clock.
