How the check works
Three steps, one verdict per IP, and the evidence printed next to it.
1. Paste the batch
One IP per line. Commas, spaces and IP:port are accepted. Free accounts can check 10 at a time; Pro 50; Studio 100.
2. We look up four things
- ASN owner — who announces this range. Hosting and cloud providers are the giveaway.
- Network type — residential ISP, mobile carrier, datacenter, CDN edge.
- Tor exit list — the official Tor Project list, refreshed daily.
- Location — country, region, city, timezone, from GeoLite2.
3. You get a verdict, not a field dump
| Verdict | Meaning | What we suggest |
|---|---|---|
| Residential (screen) | ASN looks like a normal ISP range and nothing suspicious matched | Usable. Keep it stable long term. |
| Datacenter IP | ASN belongs to a cloud or hosting provider | Do not open a new store with it — this is the classic “residential” bait. |
| CDN exit | ASN is a CDN or edge network, the real exit is invisible | Browsing only. |
| Mobile network | Carrier network, usually a shared exit | Fine for warming up an account, not for a new store. |
| VPN provider | ASN belongs to a VPN service | Do not open a new store. |
| Tor exit | Matches the official Tor exit list | Do not use — signups get flagged. |
Why we show confidence instead of a single score
A single 0–100 score hides the reasoning. We show the verdict, a confidence band, and the exact signals that produced it, so you can disagree with us and check the evidence yourself.
What this is not
- It is not an official platform decision. Platforms use many more signals.
- It is not a guarantee that an IP is clean on every marketplace.
- It is not a proxy provider. We check IPs; we do not sell them.
