IPASK Checker Tools Methodology Roadmap

About IPASK

IPASK is an inspection layer for cross-border sellers. We check whether an address is the kind of line a marketplace expects, and we show the evidence so you can disagree with us.

Why it exists

Residential proxy pools are sold as a commodity, and the label is rarely verified. Sellers find out the hard way — after registration, after a review, after a store is limited. The tools that could tell them are built for developers and price by data volume, not for the person who just bought 50 addresses.

So the product is deliberately shaped like a seller's workflow: paste a pool, get verdicts with evidence, export or share a report, keep an eye on the pool over time.

What we do

ClassifyResidential, datacenter, CDN, VPN, Tor or blocklisted — from 6 public data feeds plus our own checks.
Show evidenceASN, network type, brand, city, risk factors. Every verdict can be traced back to a field.
Watch it over timeA saved pool is re-checked daily; changes (residential → hosting, Tor listing) are recorded.
ReportA printable pool report you can send to a supplier or support ticket.

What we are not

Data and method

Sources: MaxMind GeoLite2, IPtoASN, Tor exit list, Spamhaus DROP, cloud provider ranges, PeeringDB, RIR delegation data. Rules, confidence levels and the accuracy audit are public on the methodology page; usage numbers are on stats; aggregates are on the data report.

Who runs it

A small team: sellers who got tired of buying "residential" pools that were rented datacenter space, and engineers who like public data. You can reach us at hi@ipask.net — we answer every message, including the ones telling us we are wrong.

No company boilerplate on purpose. If you need an invoice, a DPA or a specific statement for procurement, write to us and we will produce it.
