The IP checklist for a new Amazon seller account

What to verify before you register a new Amazon seller account, and which mismatches trigger the first review.

The IP checklist for a new Amazon seller account

Before the form, check four things

1. Network type. A hosting ASN is the most common reason a brand-new account gets reviewed immediately. Check the network type row in the checker: if it says hosting or CDN, do not register on it.

2. Country agreement. The IP country, the phone number country, the payment method country and the shipping address should all point to the same market. One mismatch is survivable; three look engineered.

3. Device consistency. Register and operate on the same device and browser profile. Two accounts on one device are linked by the fingerprint, not by the IP.

4. Address stability. Keep the same exit IP for at least two weeks. An address that changes daily looks like a proxy pool, even if every single IP is residential.

What to do when a review happens

The 10-minute routine

  1. Paste the pool into the checker.
  2. Export the CSV and look at the network-type column.
  3. Keep only ISP/residential addresses that share the account country.
  4. Generate a report if you need to show a supplier which addresses are unusable.

Platforms do not publish their rules. These are the patterns sellers report most often — treat them as a checklist, not a guarantee.
