What an IP risk score means
A risk score compresses several signals into one number. Useful for sorting, dangerous as a verdict. Here is how ours is built.
What goes in
- Tor exit: +55
- Known VPN provider: +45
- Public proxy: +40
- Datacenter / hosting ASN: +30
- CDN edge: +10
- Blacklist level × 8, capped at +40
What does not go in
We do not score your behaviour, your account history or the platform you use. The score is about the address, not about you.
How to read it
0–24 low, 25–49 medium, 50–74 high, 75+ very high. A low score on a datacenter address means "no abuse signal" — it does not mean residential.
The honest limits
A residential proxy network can look clean until it is seen. A used-but-clean address can look worse than a fresh datacenter one. Treat the score as a sorting key, not a verdict.
