IPASK data report
Public aggregates · last data run 2026-10-31
Numbers we can compute from public registries and our own checks. Two questions this report is meant to answer: how much of each country's IPv4 space is hosting, and which networks sellers actually get their pools from. Both are sampled; methods are stated under each chart.
Dataset size
1. Hosting share of IPv4 space, by country
Method: RIR delegation ranges per country (ipverse/rir-ip), 24 addresses sampled per country, each classified by the announcing ASN (hosting / CDN / ISP). Sample of 24; treat as an estimate, not a census. Countries with fewer than 500 ranges are excluded from the chart.

2. Networks sellers actually check (last 30 days)
Method: counts from our own checks, aggregated per announcing ASN. This tells you which networks appear in real pools — not which ones are “worst”.

3. Accuracy audit
Average match against reference sets: 100%.
| Check | Sample | Match |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud ranges → datacenter | 60 | 100% |
| Cloudflare ranges → CDN | 15 | 100% |
| DROP ranges → blacklist hit | 50 | 100% |
| Tor exit list → Tor verdict | 50 | 100% |
| Consumer ISP samples → not flagged as hosting | 20 | 100% |
These are consistency checks against public reference data (cloud ranges, Cloudflare ranges, DROP, Tor exit list). They validate the pipeline, not marketplace outcomes. Methodology.
