Local mode only checks public lists: cloud ranges, Tor exits and DROP. It has no geolocation, ASN or risk score, and a “not listed” result does not mean residential. For the full verdict use the checker.
What this mode is for
- You have a vendor list and do not want to paste it into any server.
- You want a fast first pass: which addresses are clearly hosting, Tor or blacklisted.
- You want to script it: the dataset is a static JSON file, no API key.
